Trust said 19 job offers were made during recruitment drive event in North Devon.

Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust has hailed its most recent recruitment open day as a success.

The trust held the event as part of a recruitment drive to enhance its nursing and therapy teams.

A total of 20 candidates were interviewed on the day and 19 offers of employment were made.

The event was for experienced and newly-qualified nurses interested in working at North Devon District Hospital, at the Trust’s community hospitals and supporting people in their own homes, as well as physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

Darryn Allcorn, director of workforce and development, said: “This was another fruitful event for the Trust, following on from the success of our open days last year.

“We were delighted with the quantity and quality of candidates we saw and their enthusiasm for working for our Trust and in this part of the world.

“I would like to thank our senior clinical teams for their hard work to support our recruitment efforts, ensuring we continue to provide safe, high-quality care for our patients.”

The Trust is holding a further open day at Honiton Hospital on Monday 25 April, from 10am to 3pm.
