A Braunton woman has created her vision for a new gift shop and gallery in the village. Sunflower in Chaloners Road is now open following the total refurbishment of the former Lawtons building next to the old petrol station. Owner Joanna Lee said she wanted to bring something different to the village and stock a range of original products that would appeal to holidaymakers and local people alike. There is everything from stunning wave photography canvases to jewellery, blankets and baby gifts. She said: Sunflower represents happiness, long life and good luck. I just wanted to create a really happy shopping space with unique gifts that are bright and happy and different. Its more contemporary when people think of a gift shop or gallery they think of the seaside or rustic. We have a real mix of local items and things from around the world to give people something different.Drop in to the shop on Chaloners Road or find out more at the Sunflower Braunton Facebook page.Click here to return to our homepage for more North Devon news.
