EXETER leisure company H2O hasd braved the economic gloom and doom by opening a new showroom on the Roundswell Business Park in Barnstaple, from which it is selling an extensive range of hot tubs.Creating new local sales and engineering jobs both in Barnstaple and Exeter, where the company has also expanded its operations, H2O has a further seven local engineers supporting the Barnstaple outlet through its parent company Cannings, one of Devon's largest design and service suppliers of bespoke commercial and domestic swimming pools and leisure facilities.Run by sales executive, Gareth Steer, the Roundswell showroom is open to retail and trade customers alike offering a complete range of hot tubs and accessories, including working units which can be viewed and tested in privacy. "We have been considering expanding our Exeter operation for over a year and despite the economic situation, we have seen an increase in 'ready-to-buy' visitors to our showroom, the majority of which have resulted in sales," said Becki Kirk, Area Sales Manager for Cannings' H2O operation. "Customers would rather invest in their homes and enhance their lives with something all the family can enjoy.
