HOLSWORTHY Market has undergone a re-vamp with new green and white striped gazebo stalls arranged around the Square.

There are 35 stalls on offer from plants and crafts to fruit, veg, clothing and even pet food.

Lisa Bowman, Holsworthy town clerk, said: “Holsworthy Market is now registered with the National Love Your Local Market Campaign, which aims to attract new market traders and also to highlight the importance that markets play in the heart of the local community, not only for retail but as a valuable community asset and the focal point of many of our town centres.”

Councillor Philip Collins, leader of Torridge District Council added: “This wonderful ancient market town has a lot going for it – a thriving busy and popular market, and it will soon have the new Agribusiness centre as well. These are exciting times for Holsworthy.”

Anyone interested in having a stall at the market can contact Lisa at Holsworthy Town Council on 01409 253312.
