A new Breathe Easy group for Braunton will be officially launched on Saturday, June 6 at Wrafton Church Hall.It was formed to help patients with arrange of severe breathing conditions and their carers living in the North Devon area.It offers support, advice, information and a chance for patients to meet and discuss their situation with others in similar circumstances.Breathe Easy Braunton and District is just one of around 200 groups across the country, which are all part of the British Lung Foundation support network, assisting those who fight for breath with conditions such as COPD (emphysema, chronic bronchitis,) bronchiectasis, fibrosing alveolitis and asthma, to name but a few.The launch takes place at 2pm and will by attended by North Devon MP Nick Harvey and Devon County Council Leader, Councillor Brian Greenslade plus representatives from the British Lung Foundation South Western region.Anyone affected by a lung condition, sufferers, carers or their families are invited to attend to find out more about how the group can help.For more information, contact he club chairman Phillip Blount on (01271) 813240, secretary Russell Flyng on 865863 or Sara Phillips on 812153.
