People turned out in their droves to enjoy the North Devon Show’s triumphant return.
Show secretary Theresa Soanes said the exact visitor numbers weren’t in yet, but they were ‘looking fantastic’.
The show at Umberleigh Barton Farm had to be cancelled last year due to torrential rain but there was none of that in sight this time around.
There was a different lay-out to the showground this year and new attractions, including a circus for the first time.
Theresa said it had almost been at maximum for parking, but everything went very smoothly.
She added: “A lot of people attended and we had fantastic reviews about a lot of different areas, in particular the circus, which was maxed out on their first three and final performances.
“And it was perfect show weather. Thank you to everybody for supporting us – after last year it was hard to know if we were going to get the visitors again.”
