An NCS team has transformed a pre-school garden as part of its social action project.The group decided to help renovate and assist with the maintenance of St Andrews Pre School in Sticklepath, Barnstaple.Team leader Ben Ward said: Last week the kids manage to complete an excellent project at the St Andrews Pre School at Sticklepath. During their time there they managed to repaint the shed, provide new toys. They also painted the outside wall and add some of their own designs onto it and also re-planted the garden around the outside. They were supported by JT Utilities, who donated money, and also Groundforce who provided some labour to cut the hedge and materials to help them re-plant the garden. The students who took part in the work were from North Devon schools including The Park Community School, Pilton Community College and South Molton Community College.
