A sell-out fifth anniversary concert in South Molton has raised �741.44 for the Children's Hospice South West.The Wildwood Flower Mountain Music Club celebrated its birthday in style at its home in the George Hotel with a stunning line-up of American roots and bluegrass talent - headlining with the incredible Carrivick Sisters from South Devon.Organisers Martin and Marianne Lucas host the club at the George on the second Wednesday of each month. Essentially an acoustic open mic night, anyone with an interest in playing, singing or listening to American roots music is very welcome.Concerts are held several times a year and often feature top old time and bluegrass performers direct from the USA.Anyone interested in finding out more can visit the George Hotel in Broad Street on the second Wednesday of each month at 8.30pm or call Martin and Marianne on (01237) 472083.
