Geoffrey Cox, Tory MP for Torridge and West Devon, will be taking his mobile advice surgery out onto the highways and byways next week, to visit villages and towns around the constituency. The MP, who holds regular Saturday morning surgeries in Bideford, Great Torrington, Holsworthy, Okehampton and Tavistock, uses the parliamentary summer recess to take his "MP Mobile" to rural communities to meet as many people as possible, particularly those who find it difficult to make it to his normal advice sessions. No appointment is needed and everyone is invited to come and talk about what is on their mind. Mr Cox said: "I am very much looking forward to my third summer touring our villages and towns in my mobile surgery. I have found it to be a very effective way of getting to people who might otherwise never have a personal meeting with their MP, and I assure them it is quite comfortable!"
