TORRIDGE and West Devon MP Geoffrey Cox MP and the Bideford Chamber of Commerce are holding an open forum designed to give local businesses their say on ways to improve trade in the town.Friday's event at the Durrant House Hotel, 3-5pm or 6-8pm, is open to anyone trading in Bideford."It's your chance to make a difference," said David Howell, president of the Bideford Chamber of Commerce."Come and give your MP your views on what he could do now and in the future to improve retailing in Bideford. "You could be concerned about high business rates; lack of support for independent businesses; too many supermarkets... out of town retailing... parking charges."Whatever it is that you believe can be improved, come along and have your say.
