Teams with search dogs were called to locate man in Stibbs Cross yesterday (Monday).

Mountain rescue teams and search dogs helped to locate a missing person in Stibb Cross yesterday (Monday).

Exmoor and Dartmoor Mountain Rescue Teams were asked by police to help find the missign 47-year-old at 1.30pm.

A spokesman for the rescue team said: “Teams searched the surrounding areas which varied from open farmland, buildings and dense woodland.

“The missing gentleman was located by teams safe and well and was handed over to the ambulance service last night.”
