Overnight closures in place as Tiverton bridge repairs reach half way point.
More closures are planned for the A361 North Devon Link Road this week.
Both carriageways will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday night due to ongoing repairs at the River Exe Viaduct near Tiverton.
A 15-mile section between the Bolham Roundabout and Newtown, near South Molton, will be fully closed from 7pm on Wednesday, re-opening by 6am the following morning.
It will close again from 7pm on Thursday, re-opening by 6am the next day.
A signed diversion route will direct west and eastbound traffic via Cove.
Work to replace the failed expansion joint and waterproofing of the River Exe bridge deck has reached the half way point.
The upcoming night-time closures will enable contractors to switch to the westbound carriageway, although daytime diversions for Tiverton-bound traffic will remain in place.
Traffic heading towards South Molton, will be undisrupted during the day.
Further overnight closures are expected towards the end of the project. Work is expected to be completed by January 2016.
