Motorcyclist injured in Bideford collision

Police, fire and ambulance services attended the scene in Bideford this afternoon.

A MOTORBIKE rider was taken to hospital following a collision in Bideford on Monday.

Police were called to Gammaton Road around 2.30pm to reports of a collision involving a green Triumph motorcycle.

A police spokesman said the 74-year-old motorcycle rider had been taken to North Devon District Hospital on a spinal board with suspected neck injuries.

A fire engine from Bideford also attended the incident to mop up fuel spillage and make the vehicles safe.
