Motorcyclist in collision with scaffold lorry

A 20-year-old man was injured when his bike was in collision with a stationary scaffold lorry this morning (Thursday).

A motorcycle was involved in a collision with a stationary scaffold lorry in Combe Martin this morning (Thursday).

Police and paramedics were called to the High Street outside of the library at 9.10am where the Kawasaki bike had been in collision with the Mercedes Sprinter lorry.

The 20-year-old man from Ilfracombe riding the motorcycle sustained leg and hand injuries and was treated by ambulance staff at the scene.

The road was clear by 10.05am.
