Blackwell’s Pasties turns out goliath pastry to support North Devon Hospice charity beer ‘n’ rugby event
A monster rugby ball pasty has been created by a Bideford baker to celebrate the ManTrak charity event.
Andrew Blackwell of Blackwell’s Pasties came up with the giant pastry to promote the lads-only sponsored walk for North Devon Hospice on March 19.
Participants will enjoy a Tarka Trail walk, a pint and a pasty together with the culmination of the Six Nations rugby championship at the end, along with World Cup winning rugby legend Neil Back.
Blackwell’s is once again providing pasties for the hundreds of walkers taking part – though they won’t have to eat one quite this large.
Walkers can choose to finish at either Barnstaple or Bideford rugby clubs.
The event is also sponsored by Applegate and Slee Blackwell.
