Devon County Council has confirmed: "Three vehicles were involved in the accident - one being a Devon County Council minibus belonging to Welland House in Barnstaple, a respite care unit for children and young people with disabilities aged two and a half to18 years, who live in North Devon. The bus was transporting children back to the centre from a day trip. None of the passengers on the bus was hurt in the accident and all have been collected and returned to Welland House, where they are being checked by a paramedic before returning to their homes tonight. The driver of the minibus was airlifted from the scene to hospital and we are awaiting further information on her condition.
