BIDEFORD branch of the Royal Army Service Corps and Royal Corps of Transport marked its 10th anniversary with a lunch at the Royal Hotel.Among more than 40 members and guests were founder members Bill Wills and Ernie Mason.Branch chairman Major Robin Croslegh paid special tribute to Bill Wills for his efforts to set up the branch and put it on a sound footing. Mr Wills was chairman for seven years and, despite ill health, still serves as its president.Mr Mason was, until recently, the branch's standard bearer.A recent recruiting drive had produced four new members and other interest, it was reported.
