SIMPLES the meerkat is looking forward to an "eggs-cellent" Easter at Exmoor Zoo - if she could only find out who pinched all the chocolate from her Easter egg!
The colourful box certainly smelled nice, but she couldn't help but think she was missing something...
As the smallest of a very early meerkat litter at the Bratton Fleming zoo, Simples was lucky to see Easter at all. Thrown out of the nest box with her siblings after mum decided motherhood was not for her, she was reared by Lynn Reynolds at the zoo.
She was named after the "Seemples" catchphrase used by the "Russian meerkat" in a popular television advert for a well known price comparison website.
