FIVE pupils from Bideford College have achieved superb results in their GCSE Modular Tests that they sat in November last year. The students, from Year 10 at the Specialist Science College, scored the maximum 50 marks in all three of their exams in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Head of Science, Clive Stacey said that these were 'superb results and well deserved'. 'The Science Department at Bideford College has taken on the new GCSE Science specifications with great enthusiasm and the students have responded with hard work and a clear understanding of what is necessary to do well. The five concerned, Joseph Allin,Quinn Bartlett, Joseph Day, Charlotte Emmanuel-Desir and Richard Ham are due to be presented an award in an assembly later in the term.
