Inventors invited to ‘Mad Max’ their ride and join the first ever Rolle Road Parade on Saturday, October 10 at Taddiport, Torrington

A chariot towed by 10 men will lead a parade of Mad Max proportions will be setting off from Taddiport in Torrington on Saturday, October 10.

Inventors, costumed characters and anyone inspired by Gladiator or the Mad Max theme is invited to enter their own ‘chariot’ in the first ever Rolle Road Parade from 4pm.

It has been organised by local artist Shan Miller and will raise money for the Rolle Canal plus other local charities.

Wheelchairs, beds, prams, wheelbarrows, suitcases or any form of ‘Mad Maxed’ transport is welcome to join in, with three categories - static entries, mobile entries and walking exhibits.

There is an after party following the parade at The Torridge Inn and live bands at The Loft.
