The Securing a Permanent Future for Rescued Animals charity is holding a fun day on May 11, at Torrington pannier market. From 10am, children will be able to have their faces painted and try their luck on the free quiz, tombola and guess the amount of sweets in the jar.There will also be free entry tickets for four to RHS Rosemoor Gardens for the winner of a guess the weight of the tractor competition. A family fun dog show starts at 11am, with ten classes to enter, including best looking, best condition, best puppy, waggiest tail and best rescue dog. The winner of the overall dog class will receive a doggy hamper. Entry is £1 per class.The day will end at 4pm after the raffle has been drawn.Admission is 50p per adult, which includes a free drink. Children under 12 enter free and receive a helium-filled balloon.
