Man released on bail following South Molton stabbing

A 31-year-old man who has been helping police with inquiries in connection with Monday's stabbing in South Molton has been released on bail.
He has to return to Barnstaple Police Station on October 20.
It follows an incident in Market Street in South Molton which saw a 19-year-old stabbed in the back at around 10.45pm on Monday.
He was taken to hospital but his injuries were not life-threatening. Police said they believed a small two inch bladed weapon was used in the stabbing.

They said they believed this was "an isolated incident."
