A MAN will appear in court after a customer in a North Devon pub was allegedly threatened with a large knife.

Armed response officers were called to the Hunters Inn, Newton Tracey, in the early hours of Saturday morning (September 5). No one was hurt during the incident.

Stephen Pearson, aged 32, from Newton Tracey was charged with possessing an offensive weapon and will appear at North Devon Magistrates Court on September 18.
