The 250,000 structural repair scheme is being carried out along a 200-metre stretch of road that has been subsiding due to an unstable embankment.

While the proposed scheme will stabilise the embankment, the road will also be reconstructed and highway fencing will be replaced.

The work will be carried out by Devon County Council contractor South West Highways over 15 weeks. Temporary traffic lights will be in place on the site with a 30mph speed restriction.
