AS the Bank Holiday weekend approaches, the man heading a team of private investigators leading the search for Madeleine McCann asks travellers to be on the lookout for the missing six-year-old.Following the release of the file containing thousands of reports and statements taken by the Portuguese Police, Dave Edgar, a former senior investigator with Cheshire Police, and his team have been meticulously re-examining the available evidence.Dave Edgar said, "It is my belief that Madeleine is alive; a belief which, in my opinion, is supported by the facts."This weekend marks the start of the holiday season and Dave Edgar is appealing to those jetting off from regional airports to be on the lookout for Madeleine and to report any possible sightings. Dave said, "Madeleine is now six and we believe that the recent image compiled by experts, shows how she may now look, and should be in the mind of travellers as they set off for the Bank Holiday weekend and in particular those who are heading for Portugal."For anyone wishing to report information to the 'Find Madeleine' Investigation Team, please call 0845 838 4699 or email investigation@findmadeleine.com
