MRS Greta Walter's �1,000 win on the Children's Hospice South West Lottery is not her only link with Little Bridge House in Fremington.

Her grandson Sam, aged six, has been accepted to receive respite care there shortly.

Her daughter Jo Boyd, who is Sam's mother, said: "It was such a surprise to hear that Sam had been accepted at Little Bridge House and then grandma won the lottery within a matter of days.!

"My son Sam has developmental delay and epilepsy. Our first stay at the hospice will be next month and we are really looking forward to it.
