A BUS driver was injured during a collision with a van at Stibbs Cross, near Bideford, this morning (Friday).
The incident involving the 85C Holsworthy service happened on the A388 at around 8am.
A police spokesperson said that a ladder from a vehicle is thought to have struck bus, causing an eye injury to the driver. The driver was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
The road was closed to give emergency services access to the incident but was re-opened by 9.45am.

A spokesperson for Stagecoach South West, said: "The bus driver has sustained injuries and has been taken to hospital; nobody else has been hurt in the accident. An investigation is underway.
