Watermouth Castle reopens this Saturday (March 21) and is offering a 40% off discount for the first 100 opening weekend tickets sold.

The family-oriented attraction between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin is back for a new season with plenty of old favourites, exhibits, rides and activities as well as some new additions and events.

The first 100 visitors who book in advance online will receive the 40% discount by using code ‘Opening40’ at checkout.

The season starts with Watermouth’s Easter Egg’splorers event, running from March 28 to April 12.

Families can explore the castle grounds on a fun-filled Easter egg hunt, following clues, solving puzzles and claiming a prize at the end of the trail.

Along the way, meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy bubble fun, explore Devon’s largest adventure play area in the Hobbledown Play Village, and enjoy rides, attractions and family activities throughout the park.

New for this year, Watermouth Castle will host a series of Artisan Markets, starting on Saturday, April 4 from 10am to 4pm and continuing every second Saturday through April, May, June, July and September.

The markets will be held outdoors at the front of the castle and free to attend. They are being hosted in the markets in partnership with Ilfracombe Market and will showcase a carefully curated mix of local makers, growers and independent brands.

Visitors can expect artisan food, small batch produce, handmade crafts, unique gifts and independent brands. Market entry does not include admission to the castle.

Watermouth Castle is hosting its Summer Hullabaloo from July 23 to August 31, Spooky Halloween Family Fun from October 24 to November 1 and more exciting theme events are expected to be announced in the weeks ahead.
