A brand-new brochure highlighting Christmas events and all the festive fun across Barnstaple will be available free from Monday (November 24).

The brochure has been produced by the Flourishing Barnstaple team and is also available online from Friday (November 21) at https://www.barnstaple.co.uk.

Building on the success of previous summer and Christmas guides, the Flourishing Barnstaple team has worked closely with the Barnstaple Events Team and a wide range of local organisations to pull together this year’s festive programme.

It is available to be picked up at Barnstaple Pannier Market, North Devon Council’s Town Centre Hub in Green Lanes Shopping Centre, Barnstaple Library, Queen’s Theatre, The Museum of Barnstaple & North Devon, St Anne’s Chapel and Barnstaple Town Council offices at the Square.

Featuring more than 100 events taking place throughout November and December, the brochure brings together performances, workshops, family activities and community celebrations from across the town.

Lee Baxendale, cultural producer at Flourishing Barnstaple, said: “As Barnstaple lights up for the festive season, it’s fantastic to gather all the Christmas events into one cheerful guide.

“Whether it’s performances, workshops or family fun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the magic and warmth of Christmas in our town.”

The brochure has been created by Flourishing Barnstaple in partnership with the Barnstaple Events Team - a network of event organisers and venues who work collaboratively to strengthen the town’s cultural output.
