North Devon Hospice has launched its largest ever retail venture with the new Clothing Warehouse in Barnstaple.

The outlet on Braunton Road offers more than 8,000 pre-loved fashion items under one roof, with new stock arriving daily.

From vintage gems and designer labels to everyday essentials, it’s quickly become a go-to destination for savvy shoppers who love sustainable fashion and want to support a great local cause.

Daren Ainscough, head of retail at North Devon Hospice, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to open the Clothing Warehouse and see it so warmly received.

“Every single purchase helps fund the care and support we provide to local people facing the toughest of times. It’s a win-win, because you can shop sustainably, find incredible bargains, and make a real difference to families in our community.”

Already the Clothing Warehouse is attracting people of all ages, with a particularly strong following among younger shoppers who are passionate about reducing waste and shopping responsibly.

“Every time I come, there’s something different and every item feels unique – you just know no one else will have the same thing! It’s amazing to find clothes that suit your style while also helping the planet and supporting the hospice.”

The Clothing Warehouse is on the Two Rivers Industrial Estate on Braunton Road and is open 9.30am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, with plenty of free parking on site.
