A diversion route will be in place via the B3277, A361, B3137, and A396, with signs guiding drivers along the alternative route. Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and to drive carefully, particularly at night.

Local authorities have asked drivers to plan ahead and consider alternative routes where possible, as delays are expected during the closure period.

The North Devon Link Road is a key route for traffic in and out of South Molton, connecting local towns and serving as a vital link for residents and businesses in the area.

Devon County Council has been approached for comment.
