New round of grants to help reduce crime and support victims in Devon

Applications for Police & Crime Commissioner grants now open, closing on November 8

Applications are now open taken for the next round of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s grant, for up to £10,000 for projects aimed at reducing crime and supporting victims. 

The projects must demonstrate how they are addressing one of the four Police & Crime Plan priorities of: reducing violence; tackling anti-social behaviour; tackling or mitigating drug use; supporting victims of crime.

Applications will also be prioritised for projects which are led by or working with people in minority groups and communities, or working in rural or coastal communities.

All organisations that apply should be small or medium in size with an income under £500,000 and working in Devon, Plymouth or Torbay.

They should be delivering initiatives that directly benefit local people.

The deadline for applications is 12noon on Wednesday, November 8.
