A residential activity centre in Barnstaple could be getting new staff accommodation.
RGP Architects Ltd has submitted an application for a building consisting of 12 en-suite bedrooms with a shared kitchen on behalf of the Calvert Trust Exmoor at the Wistlandpound Centre, Kentisbury.
The building will replace temporary caravans used to house staff.
North Devon District Council will be told the structure will be at the west of the site and be shielded by a large agricultural-style building, minimising visual aspects.
The architects said: “The development will utilise the vacant site and provide additional accommodation within an established residential area of Barnstaple.”
Calvert Exmoor is a residential activity centre and charity for people with physical, learning, behavioural, sensory and complex disabilities, and also welcomes their families, friends and carers.
