Ilfracombe Rotary Club are once again able to open their Annual ‘Pop Up’ Charity shop this summer due to the help of Turners Property Centre who have donated a shop for them to use.
Without their help this would not have been possible. The shop is located on Ilfracombe High Street opposite the fuel station.
Jo Bristow and Chris Ayres from Turners came down to cut the ribbon at the shop grand opening on the morning of Monday, July 24. Dan Turton, Ilfracombe's mayor, was also there and praised the work and time that Ilfracombe Rotary Club puts into the community.
Money raised from the shop will be put back into the local community and any groups who are looking for funding are welcome to approach them and enquire about donations.
The shop will be open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm for around three months, so do pop in to have a browse.
They will be taking in items to sell during that time, so if you have any preloved items that you would like to donate then do pop in to the shop during opening hours. For people who cannot make a day time drop off, the shop will also be open Thursday evenings 6.30 to 7.30pm
