Police crackdown on anti-social behaviour in Bideford park

The Neighbourhood Policing Team and patrol officers in Bideford are jointly working with Torridge District Council (TDC) in monitoring the Victoria park area of Bideford.

There have been multiple reports of Anti-Social Behaviour and possible public order offences occurring at the location recently.

Both the local police and TDC officers have attended the location together and at separate times last week and continue to do so to identify issues, collate facts and consider proportionate options, contingencies and powers to use.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: "Relevant and appropriate action will be taken in due course by both organisations with due regard given to the overall circumstances of all involved."
