Newly-elected North Devon MP ‘humbled’ by result

New North Devon MP Peter Heaton-Jones says he intends to follow through on his pledges for the constituency.

Mr Heaton-Jones has put fairer funding for North Devon at the heart of his election campaign, and said in his victory speech that he intends to do just that.

The Conservative candidate also thanked outgoing MP Nick Harvey for his 23 years of service to North Devon.
