Customer Service Advisors at North Devon Council are getting ready to open the office doors to the public again following the closure due to a third lockdown.

From Monday, April 12, Lynton House, Barnstaple and The Ilfracombe Centre will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am - 1pm. The Amory Centre in South Molton will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm and Friday 9am - 12 noon and 1pm - 3:30pm.

Customers will be required to wear a mask, unless exempt, follow social distancing rules and make use of the hand sanitiser provided.

Customer and Corporate Communications Manager, Claire Holm, says: “I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has been carrying out their transactions online and on the phone during this lockdown. As we lead up to reopening in April, I would like to urge customers to continue this exercise where they can.

“Sadly, the Coronavirus has not disappeared and our priority is to keep our residents and staff safe. Coming into our offices should be a last resort.”

Customers can carry out their transactions online via the North Devon Council website or by calling the Customer Services team on 01271 327711.
