SOUTH Molton Carnival is being staged by the local Lions' Club on Saturday, September 26.
Carnival queen Shona Ardy will be crowned at 12 noon and the parade will assemble in the cattle market car park from 4.45pm ready for judging at 5pm.
At 6pm the procession will leave the car park and pass through New Road, East Street, South Street, Mill Street and past Meadowbrook before finishing in Southley Road.

South Molton Lions have been running the carnival for more than 20 years. Last year, �1,700 was raised for the local branch of St John Ambulance. This year, proceeds will go to Children's Hospice South West.
