BARNSTAPLE Lions Club members have donated a little extra “pride” to the new Lion’s Den room at Little Harbour Hospice in Cornwall.
The control room at the newest Children’s Hospice South West facility cost 42,000 to set up, with money raised by Lions Clubs across the region.
“The Den” is a quiet a quiet family area where parents are able to stay at night and talk to members of staff should they wish.
But it is also a control centre from which staff can monitor young hospice patients around the clock to ensure everything is okay.
