NORTH Devon is being urged to let the rest of the country know all about its budding entrepreneurs by nominating them for a learndirect Achievement Award.The Awards recognise people from all walks of life, from learners who have overcome difficulties such as dyslexia, to return-learners and businesses working with learndirect to train their workforce."The annual learndirect Achievement Awards celebrate learning and recognise the achievements of people, businesses, and the centres supporting them," said Skills Minister David Lammy."I would encourage people to make a nomination, to ensure learners and providers in their area are rewarded for their hard work and dedication."To nominate a learner, business or learndirect centre for an Achievement Award, visit www.learndirect.co.uk/awards. Entries close on March 28.The regional finalists will be announced in June and invited to a national final in October.
