Police have confirmed that a woman has died following a three-vehicle collision on the A386 near Landcross on Thursday (May 9).

A woman has died and four were injured following a three-vehicle collision near Bideford, police have confirmed.

A female received fatal injuries from the incident at around 2.45pm on Thursday May 9 on the A386 near Landcross.

Police have confirmed the collision involved a black BMW, a silver Vauxhall Astra and a grey Citroen.

Two men and two woman were taken to North Devon District Hospital.

One of the men was then taken to Derriford Hospital for further treatment.

A full investigation of the scene took place after the collision, and officers are working to establish the cause.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who saw a silver Vauxhall Astra travelling between Torrington and Bideford. They would also like to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage of the incident.
