Braunton Academy student is hoping to raise extra money for her trip to Kira Farm in Uganda.

A BRAUNTON pupil is hosting a ladies Christmas treats night to help raise money for her trip to Uganda.

Year 11 student Emma Davenport is travelling to Kira Farm in July 2014, a project run by Barnstaple charity Amigos.

The evening at Braunton Academy will run from 7pm and feature pampering, wine, and gift ideas.

There will also be a raffle with prizes including a beauty makeover, a Clarins gift set and a beauty voucher.

Emma needs to raise a total of £1,800 to fund her trip, which she is undertaking with 10 other students and two members of staff.

Tickets cost £3 and include a complimentary glass of wine.
