TORRIDGE District Council has one vacancy for an independent representative to serve on its Standards Committee.
The role of the committee is to provide and maintain high standards of conduct, ethics and probity through the operation of the national code of conduct.
As well as covering Torridge District Council, this also includes the conduct of town and parish councils in the district.
The Standards Committee is made up of 15 Members - five of whom are district councillors, four are parish councillors and six are independent non-elected members of the public.
