SOUTH Molton Community College student Josie Ardy will be following in the footsteps of her sister when she takes centre stage at the local Lions' Club carnival on Saturday.
Jose, 15, from Chittlehampton, will be crowned carnival queen at 12noon, alongside attendants Caitlin Squire and Harry Shiels from South Molton Infant School. Older sister Shona fulfilled the special role in 2009.
The parade itself will assemble in Southley Road from 4.45pm ready for judging at 5pm.
At 6pm the procession will set off on its traditional route, turning left at New Road before heading along East Street, Broad Street, South Street, Mill Street, past Meadowbrook and back to Southley Road.

As in previous years, there will be a fair in the Pannier Market that evening.
