TV personality kicks off school’s season of ‘Inspire to Aspire’ evenings

A fascinating, fun and highly educational evening was spent with TV personality Johnny Ball at the Park Community School.

The famous mathematician, scientist, comedian and “Strictly” star went down a ‘wow’ with young and old alike as he kicked off the school’s season of ‘Inspire to Aspire’ evenings.

Ball provided the packed School Hall with a mine of mathematical facts and figures whilst inspiring everyone to continue with their learning throughout their lives.

“The whole aim is to offer new and exciting opportunities to engage with a natural love of learning,” said Park head teacher David Atton.

The next “Inspire to Aspire” evening is titled ‘Construction & Engineering into the 21st Century’ and takes place on November 6. Free tickets for the coming season of lectures are available from the School office.
