Crowds queue to see JLC

HUNDREDS turned out to see comic and radio and television personality Justin Lee Collins at a book signing session in Bideford .

The queue stretched up the High Street as JLC from Bristol signed copies of his book Good Times at Walter Henry's bookshop and delighted his audience.

Walter Henry's was one of only four bookshops in the South West to be given a signings opportunity as he carried out engagements in the South West before going off to Japan the next day.

Shop manageress Lynsey Southern said: "We work a lot with the Random House group of publishers and have supported some of their up and coming authors. So they asked us if we would like a well known name to come to our shop. People started queuing at around 3.30pm and within an hour there were about 200 in the crowd. Justin signed solidly for three hours and did not leave until 7pm. He is a really lovely man and had his photograph taken and took time out with everyone.
