Police appealing for information following reports of theft

Police appealing for information following a jewellery theft in Ilfracombe.

The incident occurred at a property in Hostle Park and was reported on Monday when items were discovered missing. It could have occurred over the last few months, though, as no forced entry was found.

Among the items stolen were a black crocodile skin jewellery box containing a number of rings, bracelets and necklaces that had a selection of black, gold and white Tahitian pearls inset.

All the items were in their own boxes with authentic warranties as they were all purchased in Hawaii and are of great sentimental value to the victim.

Police would like to hear from anyone who has been offered any of these items for sale or anyone who has any information regarding the incident and ask that they contact police on 101 or 101@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk quoting police reference CR/057617/15. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
