A 25-year-old from Leeds was taken to Derriford by air ambulance after two jet skis collided off Watermouth on Monday afternoon. Ilfracombe RNLI, the coastguard helicopter and police were in attendance. Police said the man was pulled unconscious from the water injuries were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing. The RNLI said the casualty was picked up by the inshore lifeboat, and transferred to the all weather lifeboat, with two paramedics placed aboard to assist. He was brought back to Ilfracombe pier and was transferred to Devon Air Ambulance. Police thanked Jet Ski Safari, which assisted in the rescue and was not related to the incident.
