The biggest event of Hartland's year is just around the corner: the Hartland Midsummer Charity Weekend starts June 20 and promises to be an unmissable event with something for all ages and interests - all raising money for North Devon Hospice and Cancer Research UK.The party kicks off with a grand summer ball - tickets sold out just two hours after being released!The Sunday will see a classic Country Fayre in the beautiful grounds of Hartland Abbey. This is a chance to enjoy local crafts and produce and enjoy some great entertainment. As well as the wonderful local produce on sale, Jonathan Marshall will be making the crowds swoon with his breathtaking birds of prey display while David Kennard and his sheepdogs will also make a guest appearance. Highlight of the weekend promises to be the Saturday night bonanza: Jazz at the Abbey. Trumpet-playing legend Kenny Ball tops the bill with support from the Digby Fairwhether and Val Wiseman.
