SNOW has caused disruption on the roads and forced schools across North Devon to close.
It began falling early this morning following sub zero overnight temperatures and just in time to wreak havoc with the morning rush hour.
The North Devon Link Road was at a crawl with traffic queuing on the approaches to Barnstaple, while the A39 between Clovelly and Kilkhampton has been closed.
All First Bus services in the North Devon area have been suspended as have those of Stagecoach.
